Dave`s Giant Hamburger in Fairfield

Dave's place is just a tiny building with a small amount of seating. It is not a pretty place but then,,, people don't eat here for the aesthetics they come in droves for the best tasting burgers I have ever eating. The menu is small, offering only burgers, drinks, shakes and pies. Dave's burgers are large,cooked to order when ordered and made with fresh veggies. 😋 😋 😋😘😘😘😘😘

First came here in the 80's as a child with my family and remember meeting Dave and how inviting and funny he was. Returned in my 20's whenever I was in the area. Just stopped by last night with three generations of my family and met Lisa, Dave's daughter who was so kind and caring and a heck of a cook. Family owned and the best burger in the area. A Must Try experience.

The place serves large portions and for fair prices. very welcoming employees. 5 stars from me.

Dave's does not disappoint. It's a small cozy little diner with a few tables and counter seating. They have burgers, chips, shakes and pies. The burgers are scrumptiously juicy and full of flavor. The staff if super friendly. It's cash only and no public restroom if you have kids. You must experience this little gem.

A friend told me about this place. It was everything he said it was. An old fashioned road side burger joint. I order a cheese burger and it was cooked to a perfect medium. The place was clean and the ladies behind the counter were friendly.

Great F'n burgers but it has gone down a little in thickness of the patty. Uber good shakes N pies. Too bad they don't have fries.Staff is always friendly.If you have the room in yo belly, you'll want more than one.

I tried this spot already with a friend and I am hooked since then. I liked the fantastic atmosphere and flavorful dishes and drinks. Kudos.

The quality had gone way down, and I feel like they don't use the seasoning Dave used to use. Also the tots aren't cooked long enough they are soggy and fried in old oil. It's unfortunate we have gone there for years. Sometimes change isn't good change.

This is a town staple and the burgers never disappoint! In addition to the burgers, they have several different flavor options for milk shakes with real ice cream! They used to only accept cash and now they also accept debit/credit cards so it’s even more convenient than ever to get you a nice bacon cheeseburger! It’s not until after you eat here that you can say you truly experienced Fairfield.

Love. Love. This place! Even though we don't go often, it is like a treat. They have the best burgers in Fairfield! They make them made to order. And I always get my rare and a double. I can eat! Lol. The staff here is always nice and friendly. The place is clean as well. They don't have French fries so don't go there thinking that. However, they aren't missed! If you are in Fairfield and want a yummy, quality eat this is it!

Best burger and milkshake combo in town. Don't ask for fries as they don't have them. However, the burger is tasty enough, you won't miss them.

Been here many times. Sunday, 8-11-19, was my last time i will ever go there. Halfway though the burger found a long black hair between burger and bun. The cook had long black hair. When i mentioned it to one of the other employees she simply said "Oh, sorry" and walked away.

Hamburgers are definitely GIANT, no need to go double! - had a tried and true GIANT Chili Burger, delicious as always, and the milk shakes are incredible! This place is a Fairfield "Best" - Dave's, don't ever change!

My kids are picky eaters but these burgers they absolutely LOVED! I don't know what it is, but Dave's hit the spot with the amount and flavor and cheese and goodness. Not a fan of the tots, but that's everywhere for me. So overall great old school burger joint.

Everything was delicious.... except the tater tots. I wish they had fries. Otherwise, delicious burger and shake. Definitely a must if you want a good burger.

56 years in business, and still family run. It's "That place" that regulars and locals revere, love, and treasure. The food is amazing, the shakes are wonderful (tons of different flavors) and they vibe is fun- funky-mid1960's-burger stand. This place is one if very few reasons to visit Fairfield Ca imho. Don't miss it.

I grew up in a small town in Ohio and this place took me home. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. The menu is straight, simple, and to the point. They know what they are good at and stick to it. Thanks for good food, conversation, and the slice of blueberry pie. I will definitely be returning.

Trash 🗑 . The greasiest burger u ever had . Pound of unmelted cheese if I could I’d give them a half a star .customer service was nice which they got that half . Wouldn’t recommend

The customer service is regularly efficient, good ambience, helpful staff members. Will return here again when I arrive in town.

Excelente customer service. Ladies taking orders are very kind and courteous. They take an order and start working on it right away. Food comes out really hot and fresh.Burgers are really good and big. I will recommend this place for anyone that likes hamburgers.Also, if you like to be in a very fresh ambience seat inside but, if you like to be on the outside they have few tables outside to enjoy the weather while enjoying their very delicious food.

Great place with history...I'm 45yrs old and used to hit Dave's up on the weekends after the football game in high school. Great food, great service. Every time I'm in the area I go there.

Back in Solano county for afternoon. Had to make stop at Dave's. Lordy, I've missed them. Highly recommended.

I haven't been to this place since high school. I happened to work near Dave's today and went in for a bacon burger and shake. It was hands down the best burger in solano. I will be back many times starting this weekend!
